New patients

Your first visit, mapped out.

No mystery, no pressure, and nothing due at the door. Here's exactly what happens when you visit Beeline Orthodontics for the first time — and how we make the money part just as simple.

Your first visit

One visit, one clear flight plan.

Your free consultation covers everything — what your smile needs, how long it should take, and what it will cost. All before you leave.

Say hello & settle in

We'll greet you by name, show you around the office, and hear what brought you in — whether that's a dentist's suggestion or a smile you've been thinking about for years.

Photos & a digital scan

Quick photos and a comfortable digital scan of your teeth — no goopy impressions. It gives Dr. Glessener everything he needs to map your options.

Sit down with Dr. G

Dr. Glessener walks you through what he sees and what he recommends — including timing and exact pricing, the same day. If you don't need treatment yet, he'll tell you that, too.

Before you arrive

What to bring

Not much, honestly. But a few things help us make the most of your visit:

  • Your insurance card, if you have dental coverage — we'll check your orthodontic benefits for you.
  • Recent dental x-rays, if your dentist has them handy. Not required — we can work without them.
  • Your questions. All of them. Straight answers are kind of our thing.

No card, no x-rays, no problem — come anyway. And no referral is needed to book a consultation.

Financing & insurance

Clear pricing, comfortable payments.

You'll know your exact cost before treatment starts, and we'll build a payment plan around your budget — not the other way around.

Free consultations

Your first visit — exam, photos, digital scan, and a full treatment plan — costs nothing and obligates you to nothing.

0%-interest payment plans

Flexible in-house financing with no interest, ever. Choose a down payment and monthly amount that fit your family's budget.

Most insurance accepted

We accept most dental insurance plans with orthodontic benefits — and we file the claims for you as a courtesy.

FSA & HSA eligible

Orthodontic treatment is typically an eligible expense for flexible spending and health savings accounts. We'll provide the paperwork you need.

Good questions

New patient FAQ

The things new patients ask us most. Don't see yours? Ask at your consult — or just give us a call.

How much do braces or clear aligners cost?

It depends on your bite, your treatment choice, and how long treatment takes — which is why we don't quote one-size-fits-all numbers. At your free consultation you'll get an exact, all-inclusive fee for your case, in writing, before you commit to anything. Payment plans and insurance benefits are worked out at the same visit.

Do I need a referral from my dentist?

Nope. Many patients are referred by their dentist, but you're welcome to book a consultation directly — no referral required. We'll keep your dentist in the loop throughout treatment.

What ages do you treat?

All of them — kids, teens, and adults. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic checkup by age 7, and there's no upper age limit for a healthier bite. Curious about your child? Start with our early treatment page.

How long do appointments take?

Plan on about an hour for your first visit so we have plenty of time for questions. Once treatment is underway, most adjustment visits are much quicker — we'll tell you what to expect when we schedule each one, and we work hard to run on time.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

Life happens — just call us and we'll reschedule, no scolding. Missing the occasional visit won't derail your treatment, though frequent gaps can stretch out your timeline, so we'll always help you find times that actually work for your schedule.

What if I miss a payment or my budget changes?

Talk to us — really. Our payment plans are in-house, which means we can adjust them without involving a bank. If your situation changes mid-treatment, we'll work out a plan that keeps your care on track.

We're moving to Charlotte mid-treatment. Can you take over?

Welcome to the neighborhood — and yes. Transfer patients are always welcome. We'll request your records from your previous orthodontist, evaluate where things stand, and pick up right where they left off.

Does the free consult obligate me to anything?

Not a thing. You'll leave with an honest assessment, a recommended plan, and exact pricing — and the decision is entirely yours. Sometimes our best advice is "not yet," and we'd rather monitor your smile for free than start treatment you don't need.
